PARKING: You will have free parking on site for one vehicle per room.  There is no parking on site for trailers, designated trailer parking is available approximately 5 blocks from the Motel. 

PETS: We have a few designated pet friendly rooms. Dogs are welcome on a space available basis, and ONLY WITH PRE-APPROVAL. You may be asked to provide a health certificate or vaccination records. There is a one-time fee of $25. Dogs must be kept on a leash when outdoors and may not be left unattended in the room. Pet damage will result in a $250 restoration fee being charged to your payment method on file.

SMOKING: The Matterhorn Motel is a NON-SMOKING property. No smoking is allowed in the rooms or anywhere on the property. Evidence of smoking will result in a $250 cleaning fee being charged to your payment method on file.

DAMAGE: The Motel is not responsible for any loss, accidents or injury to guests. The guest assumes responsibility for any damages to the property in the amount determined by owners for replacement, repair or cleaning. Damaged or missing items post check-out will be charged to your payment method on file.

PAYMENT:
Your payment method on file will be charged a 1 night non-refundable deposit upon booking. The balance, if any, is due at check-in.
Our rates are based on single or double occupancy. Extra guests: Add $20 nightly per guest 13 years of age or older.
The tax rate in Lake City/Hinsdale County is 9.9%

CANCELLATION:
The first night of your reservation is non-refundable.
If cancelled in advance of the cancellation period, you will not be responsible for the balance of your room rental. If cancelled within the cancellation period, you will be responsible for the entire reservation room rental.
Cancellation Period:
June 1 - September 30 = 14 days prior to arrival date
October 1 - May 31 = 3 days prior to arrival date
